My work explores the intersection of observation and imagination using whatever materials I have at hand. I have spent many years living in Europe, and my work carries a dialogue between classical influence and contemporary expression.
My paintings and monoprints explore the interplay of shifting light, animal presence, and the quiet narratives of daily life. I enjoy bold color and expressive line; working to translate fleeting moments into compositions that balance intimacy with universality. My work has evolved alongside my career as a designer and educator. My practice spans a range of media, from tiny paintings on matchbooks, monoprints on paper, to large-scale paintings on wood panels. I received my BFA from Washington University in St Louis. I live in Midcoast, Maine. I welcome commissions and collaborations. Reach out to say hello! Graphic Design Studio - Camden Design shop |
